Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
    Pengajuan belum pernah dipublikasikan sebelumnya, juga tidak sebelum jurnal lain untuk dipertimbangkan (atau penjelasan telah diberikan dalam Komentar untuk Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice or Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx) document file format.
    File pengiriman dalam format file dokumen OpenOffice atau Microsoft Word (*.doc, *.docx).
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
    Jika tersedia, URL untuk referensi telah disediakan.
  • The manuscript should be prepared using a Journal Template available.
    Naskah harus disiapkan menggunakan Template Jurnal yang tersedia.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
    Teks mematuhi persyaratan gaya dan bibliografi yang diuraikan dalam Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Naskah yang diterima di Jurnal Bahasa Asing adalah naskah yang: (1) asli, bukan hasil plagiarisme, dan memiliki kebaruan; (2) belum pernah dipublikasikan, atau dalam proses penerbitan, di media lain; (3) sedang dalam bidang ilmu komunikasi; dan (4) harus berdasarkan penelitian.
  2. Aplikasi Plagiarisme X digunakan untuk memeriksa semua naskah yang diterima dengan toleransi maksimal 25% (lihat Publication Ethics). Jika kesamaan lebih dari 25%, naskah diperlukan untuk direvisi atau ditolak.
  3. Naskah ditulis dalam bahasa Indonesia, bahasa Inggris atau bahasa lainnya dan mengikuti aturan penulisan sesuai journal template.
  4. Panjang naskah harus 10-30 halaman (termasuk referensi).
  5. Untuk kecepatan proses publikasi, disarankan agar semua manuskrip telah dibaca ulang sebelum dikirim atau diunggah ke sistem. Sertifikat/bukti proofreading dapat dikirimkan ke redaksi melalui email: jba@stba-jia.ac.id.
  6. Naskah harus diserahkan secara online melalui OJS.
  7. Penulis harus mendaftar sebagai AUTHOR di OJS untuk mengirimkan naskah.
  1. The accepted manuscript in Jurnal Bahasa Asing is the manuscript, which: (1) is original, not a result of plagiarism, and has novelty; (2) has never been published, or in the process of publishing, in other media;(3) is  in the field of communication studies; and (4) it must based on research.
  2. Plagiarism Checker X is used to check all accepted manuscripts with maximum tolerance of 25% (see Publication Ethics). If the similarity is more than 25%, the manuscipt will be either, required to revise or declined.
  3. Manuscript is written in Bahasa Indonesia, English or other language and follow the writing rules according to the journal template.
  4. Manuscript should be 10-30 pages long (including references).
  5. For the promptness of publication process, it is recommended that all manuscripts has been proof read before submitted or uploaded to the system. The certificate/proof of proofreading can be sent to the editor via email: jba@stba-jia.ac.id.
  6. Manuscript must be submitted online via OJS.
  7. Author must register as AUTHOR in OJS to submit the manuscript.
